The Staging Allegation — 691 W 925 S

:::caution Unverified — this is a lead, not a finding What follows is an unverified, unattributed allegation. No court filing, charging document, or law-enforcement statement reviewed for this page names this address as a planning or staging site. Tyler Robinson is charged, not convicted. No living person — including the property's owner of record — is accused here of any crime. This page exists to state the claim precisely and to define what would be needed to prove or disprove it. :::

The claim, exactly as recorded

The allegation appears in the investigation's master file under a heading about a possible staging house, and reads in full:

"It is alleged that the attackers planned from this house / building: 691 W 925 S St, Orem, UT 84058"

That is the entire claim. It carries no named source, no date, no described evidence, and no chain of custody. It asserts a possibility — that the people responsible for the UVU shooting used this address as a planning or staging location — and nothing more.

What the claim does and does not say

  • It says the house may have been used to plan or stage the operation. It does not describe it as a firing position. The property sits only about a quarter-mile from the north edge of the UVU campus — walking distance from the shooting site — but authorities placed the reported firing position on the Losee Center roof, not at this house.
  • It does not name who allegedly used the house, when, or how.
  • It does not connect the owner of record to any wrongdoing, and neither does this site. Note that the owner is now documented to be Utah Valley University itself on live parcel 36:443:0006 (warranty deed May 24, 2019, Entry 46392-2019) — a fact that reframes the lead (a public body's property, obtainable by records request) but proves nothing about the staging claim. See the full deed chain.
  • It is not corroborated by any public record found for this page, including rental and listing history.
  • Nearby official evidence on the same street — Ring video of a grey Challenger at 680 W 925 S ~00:30 on Sept 11 — is real court media (block page). That proves the corridor was used; it does not by itself prove staging at 691.
  • Citizen packages (DiligentDenizen command-center video, TikTok vacant-property claims) add hypotheses and footage still awaiting building match and truck IDs.

What would confirm — or kill — it

Treat this as a checklist for any investigator, journalist, or citizen researcher:

  1. A named source. Who first alleged this, and on what basis? An anonymous line in a file is not evidence.
  2. A rental or occupancy record. A lease, a short-term booking, or utility/occupancy data placing non-owners in the house around September 2025 — see Rental & Listing History.
  3. Device or vehicle data. Phone-location, ALPR, or vehicle records tying anyone connected to the attack to this address.
  4. A law-enforcement action. Any search warrant, evidence log, or filing referencing 691 W 925 S. None is known.
  5. Physical or photographic evidence. Anything tying the house to the operation beyond assertion.

Until at least one of these exists, the honest label is unconfirmed rumor recorded as an open lead — worth chasing, not worth repeating as fact.

Why it is worth documenting anyway

Off-site planning and staging locations are a real feature of coordinated attacks, and "was an off-campus property used?" is a legitimate investigative question the public record has not answered. Documenting the lead — with the property facts, the ownership record, and the listing history laid alongside it — makes the claim checkable instead of leaving it as a floating rumor. If the lead is false, the surrounding facts help show that; if it is true, they are where the confirmation will surface. Either way, the responsible move is to mark it unverified and ask for a real investigation.

Laws (Charlie Kirk)

An anonymous claim about a staging house can only be resolved by the records a mandated, transparent investigation can compel — leases, device data, warrants, and evidence logs. That is the purpose of the Charlie Kirk Investigation Laws.
