The July 20, 2025 AmFest Week
July 20, 2025 is the date this investigation treats as its anchor — exactly two months before September 10 — and the reason it became an anchor is AmFest. The argument, as circulated by researchers publishing Google Trends screenshots, is that a large cluster of foreign-attributed search interest in the people, places, and aircraft of this case peaks in the same week that Charlie Kirk put Tucker Carlson on a TPUSA stage alongside an Israel debate.
The claim as stated
The circulated version reads:
"Most hits? Around JULY 20, 2025 — exactly 2 months before they took him out. And guess what? That's the SAME WEEK Charlie platformed TUCKER CARLSON at AMFEST in Florida for the FIRST TIME."
That single sentence contains the anchor claim and two of its problems. The event in Florida was the Student Action Summit in Tampa, not December's AmericaFest in Phoenix. And it was not Carlson's first TPUSA conference appearance — he closed the first night of AmericaFest 2024. The week-alignment part of the claim survives; the "first time" part does not.

The SU-BTT capture is treated as the strongest single item in the whole search thread, on the reasoning that an Egyptian aircraft registration is a six-character string with essentially no organic search demand in any country, and that the researcher's custom Trends range closed on September 1 — before the shooting — so it cannot be explained by post-event news interest.
The "AMFEST military/intelligence meeting"
Several pages on this site record a further claim: that a July 20, 2025 AMFEST military/intelligence meeting took place, and that it preceded the Hamptons donor weekend by roughly four days and sat in sequence with a July 31, 2025 off-the-record White House strategy session on "woke-right defamation" of Israel from which Kirk and TPUSA were reportedly absent.
This claim needs to be handled carefully, because it is weaker than the rest of the window:
- It appears in commentary compilations, principally traced through Israel Hamptons, not in any primary document.
- No attendee list, venue, or agenda has been published.
- The label "AMFEST" attached to a July meeting is itself suspect, since AmericaFest is a December event — this may be a compression of "the AmFest ecosystem" or a mislabelling of the Tampa summit.
- Kirk's and TPUSA's absence from the July 31 White House session is the part several commentators find most significant, and absence from a meeting is not evidence about the meeting.
Treat the July 20 meeting as an unverified item in a commentary chain, not as a dated event. The dedicated timeline page holds the fuller version.
What the anchor argument does and does not establish
Does: it establishes that a set of case-relevant search terms — an Egyptian tail number, a hospital's surgeons, a not-yet-announced state police commissioner — show foreign-attributed interest before the events that made those terms newsworthy. That pattern is the reason former NCTC director Joe Kent has said on the record that "more than likely there's something else at play," and that his center's foreign-nexus review was halted before such leads were exhausted.
Does not: it does not establish who searched, from where, or why. Google Trends reports a normalized index inside one geographic bucket — never a query count, never an identity. VPN and datacenter attribution can place a search in the wrong country entirely. And the AmFest half of the correlation is the weakest link: a conference happening in the same week as a search spike is a coincidence until something connects them.
No person who appears in search data is claimed here to have participated in violence.
