Ryne Simmons — FBI Video Deletion

This is government-adjacent censorship — distinct from X/YouTube moderation.

The account​

From the investigation file and @ninoboxer amplification:

  • Witness Ryne Simmons says he recorded close-up 4K @ 60fps video of the assassination
  • He sent the footage to the FBI to assist investigators
  • FBI at the federal level reportedly called multiple times to ensure the video was deleted from his device
  • Simmons says he preserved a copy anyway (claim)

Why investigators treat this as critical​

Commentary argues close-range high-frame-rate video could:

  • Resolve wound mechanism debates (bullet vs device)
  • Show timing relative to audio and crowd reaction
  • Contradict or support rooftop shooter narrative

If federal investigators prioritized deletion over chain-of-custody preservation, that is a transparency issue — not yet a court finding.

Disclosure​

Fix Laws targets: FBI logs of witness contact, instructions to delete media, and whether Simmons' copy was ever entered as evidence.
