Best understanding of when he said this
Best understanding: Charlie’s underlying remark (if made) was on or before AUG 13, 2025, the day Harrison Smith published the third-hand relay. Chart domain is mid-AUG only — not the whole summer.
Date range (working model): Domain: AUG 6–14 2025 · Peak on/before AUG 13 (Smith post day)
The chart below is not a government finding. Bar height is relative likelihood from public claims (X posts, interviews, investigation indexes, master-file notes). Domain is trimmed to where likelihood is non-trivial — no multi-week empty stretch.
What is claimed
The most verifiable artifact in this index and the most misread. What is documented is a public post: Harrison Smith wrote on August 13, 2025 that someone close to Charlie Kirk had told him Kirk believed Israel would kill him if he turned against them. The post is real and archived. The underlying statement is third-hand and its original speaker has never been named.
The post itself — the whole of KM-02, as published:

How it entered the record
- Harrison Smith posts the claim on X on August 13, 2025, explicitly declining to name his source.
- The post accumulates very high engagement and is screenshotted into dozens of later compilations.
- Smith publicly reaffirms it — reportedly with a one-word "yes" — on the day of the shooting.
Verification status
- The post is confirmed. Anyone can read it; this site treats the post as an artifact, not as proof of what Kirk said.
- The quote inside it is unverified. It is a relay of a relay: Smith → unnamed intermediary → Kirk.
- This is a paraphrase in the third person, not a first-person Kirk quote. Compilations that render it as Kirk speaking are re-writing it.
Do not confuse it with
This is not KM-03 or KM-04. Those are first-person quotes attributed directly to Kirk. KM-02 is a third party reporting what an unnamed fourth party said. Many viral graphics collapse all three into one line.
X / Twitter posts on when this was likely said
Exact public claims and implications about timing (not a complete archive — these are the dated anchors used for the likelihood chart above):
- @HarrisonHSmith: "I’m not gonna name names, but I was told by someone close to Charlie Kirk that Charlie thinks Israel will kill him if he turns against them. (AUG 13, 2025)"
- @grok: "Yes, Harrison H. Smith (HarrisonHSmith) posted exactly that on August 13, 2025."
- @RetroDeNovo: "Harrison Smith's tweet re Kirk & Israel proceeded CK's death by 6 weeks."
- @ericswann1984: "…posted he had a source that said Charlie is terrified israel was gonna kil him 3 weeks prior"
- @FireAmericaLast: "Harrison Smith reported 3 weeks BEFORE Charlies murder that someone close to Charlie stated "Charlie is afraid Israel is going to have him killed for his change in stance on Israel"."
- @Spring177542202: "I'll take Charlie Kirk's word for it the night before... Also Aug. 13, 2025,"
More raw date research is kept in the investigation master file and the on-page X quotes above.

Interesting
- TPUSA's own spokesman confirmed this one as real: the leave-pro-Israel WhatsApp chat.
- The sheriff who handled the surrender quit the same day a bullet non-match surfaced — official resignations.
- Hearing summaries list Orem PD as investigating, against the public line: Orem PD and local response.
