Best understanding of when he said this
Best understanding: bimodal mid-AUG — reels/X often AUG 13, beat indexes often AUG 16. Domain AUG 11–18 only.
Date range (working model): Domain: AUG 11–18 2025 · Bimodal AUG 13 (reels) + AUG 16 (indexes KB155)
The chart below is not a government finding. Bar height is relative likelihood from public claims (X posts, interviews, investigation indexes, master-file notes). Domain is trimmed to where likelihood is non-trivial — no multi-week empty stretch.
What is claimed
The fuller, more conditional version of the Israel-split fear: not a flat prediction but a hedged one ("I think they will kill me"). Investigation indexes date it August 16, 2025 (row KB155), while a large share of public retellings and reels put it on August 13 — the same day as KM-02 and KM-03.
How it entered the record
- Attributed to conversations with friends rather than to a document; see Friend Conversation Claims.
- Amplified heavily through Instagram and X reels that pose the question "when did he say this?" — secondary packaging, not primary record.
- Frequently spliced after September 10 into the September 9 material, producing a false single-event story.
Verification status
- No native export or recording. This is a recollected sentence.
- The date is contested inside the record itself — Aug 16 by index, Aug 13 by popular retelling.
- The hedge ("I think") is often dropped in re-postings, hardening a worry into a prediction.
Do not confuse it with
Do not merge with KM-03. And do not let the Aug 13 / Aug 16 collision be used to argue the whole cluster is fabricated, or to argue it is corroborated — a date conflict proves neither.
X / Twitter posts on when this was likely said
Exact public claims and implications about timing (not a complete archive — these are the dated anchors used for the likelihood chart above):
- Site index KB155: "“Hey, if I go against Israel, I think they will kill me.” — dated AUG 16 in many investigation indexes; public retellings often still say AUG 13."
- @Partisangirl: "X packaging of the go-against-Israel / kill-me line (widely recirculated with AUG dating)."
- @BalochRamzan2: "Recirculates the AUG-window Israel kill-me quotes."
- @hippyygoat: "Short “they will kill me” + Gaza clips packaging tied to the same mid-AUG quote family."
- Master file: "Allegedly told to a friend on August 13, 2025, who was instructed to post it online. (Many indexes move the fuller wording to AUG 16.)"
More raw date research is kept in the investigation master file and the on-page X quotes above.

Interesting
- He was reportedly told to drop his Epstein files coverage — and refused.
- Donor pressure left him "no choice but to leave the pro-Israel cause," per profiling claims.
- Visa revocations followed celebratory posts abroad: public response and social division.
