TPUSA Production Drone
Separate from military ISR claims, citizen investigators focus on a TPUSA-operated camera drone over the UVU crowd on September 10, 2025. The dispute is not whether some drone flew — TPUSA later admitted a production flight — but whether leadership misled the public about drones while denying security the same capability.
The denial vs. the footage
Tyler Bowyer (TPUSA COO) and security figures including Brian Harpole publicly framed the event as no drones overhead — university/campus policy allegedly blocked them. Then:
- October 14, 2025 — TPUSA posted a Charlie birthday tribute video (his 32nd) with overhead drone B-roll from the Sept 10 event, including wide crowd shots roughly an hour before the shooting.
- Dr. Frank Turek (event speaker) reportedly told commentators he and Charlie reviewed drone footage en route and he warned about too many buildings for sniper exposure; Charlie proceeded.
A later cease-and-desist letter from TPUSA counsel to citizen investigator @FinanceWolves (Zach) admitted, per research notes: "TPUSA media production drone briefly flew for B-roll BEFORE the event" — while security was denied drone overwatch. Candace Owens (Jan 2026) highlighted that split as contradiction central: media got aerial views; protective detail did not.
Andrew Kolvet offered an alternate explanation (wide-angle from a bridge, not drone). We present all accounts; we do not adjudicate which camera source each clip used.
Why investigators care
A production drone is not proof of a weaponized kill. It is evidence about:
- What angles existed that may never have been released to the public or defense,
- Whether TPUSA statements about "no drones" were literally false,
- Security policy failures — if aerial overwatch was available to media but blocked for protection.
Utah generally restricts drone flight over crowds without permits; commentators allege illegal hover regardless of operator intent.
Timestamp threads
Some posts sync drone-path analysis to ~12:07 PM parking-lot cameras and FBI-released clips (same vehicles, per claimants). Independent verification of timestamp alignment is ongoing.
Defamation note
Tyler Bowyer, Brian Harpole, Erika Kirk, and other TPUSA figures are alive. We report documented statements and admissions; we do not claim they knew of the assassination in advance or participated in it.
