alexboge — X Posts

@alexboge is the site's most-cited physics skeptic of the exploding-microphone theory — the account whose July 2026 threads formalized the rifle-camp counterargument across the Mic and Medical sections. The bullets below are attributed technical commentary, preserved because the assessment standard requires both sides on contested mechanism pages.

Claims from X posts

  • July 9, 2026 — Detailed debunk: a shaped charge needs standoff distance and rigid fixation; a ~32 g RØDE Wireless Pro clipped to fabric would rocket away under Newton's third law rather than drive a stable jet. PETN-class events should leave flash, smoke, burns, and torn fabric — absent from multi-angle 4K footage. See Explosive Mic Killed Charlie — the skeptic counterargument.
  • Steelmanned and rejected the proponent "primer charge" fix (a second explosion lifting the mic to create standoff) as an "epicycle" — an invisible event invented to rescue the theory.
  • Argued that if a contact blast puffed cotton without tearing cotton, it lacked the energy to destroy a neck; pager-style kills (Lebanon) leave burns and fragmentation signatures absent from the UVU shirt. See Demonstration of a Shaped Charge.
  • Noted that preliminary-hearing material entered around July 6–11, 2026 includes autopsy findings of cause of death: gunshot wound to the neck, with bullet fragments recovered — so any mic-only theory must also explain projectile evidence. See trial and autopsy report.
  • July 12, 2026 — On a circulating TDoA audio report: its own supersonic-ordering argument "correctly kills the exploding microphone theory," even while rejecting the report's courtyard-shooter conclusion.
  • Elaborated Monroe-effect geometry requirements (liner, standoff, rigid fixation) against both the pendant and transmitter-housing variants — see exploding pendant shaped charge and mic explosion video analysis.

Investigative value

alexboge anchors the debunk cohort in the site's three-camp map of the mechanism fight (Mic overview): device-rupture proponents, the rifle camp, and hybrid questions. The site's guidance on the mic pages is explicit — read the alexboge, @GoernerHugo, and @Trillion0x arguments in full before sharing device-theory clips.

A citizen analyst who checks viral claims against arrival clocks, and who pushed back on the 9:24 AM contact story from inside the skeptic camp. That discipline is rarer here than the claims are.

One of the main carriers of Charlie's alleged final warnings — the compilation posts through which the kill-me quotes spread. A quote amplifier rather than a document source, and the page holds that distinction.

One narrow, checkable claim: does high-frame-rate footage show fabric moving before the wound appears? That is answerable with original-resolution video and imaging expertise, which is why the site logs it despite the dispute.

.30-06 Energy Mismatch

A .30-06 round carries roughly 3,950 joules against a 9mm's 482. Commentators argue the wound described publicly does not match that energy — the arithmetic is not disputed, the inference is.

.30-06 Bullet Did Not Kill Charlie

Wound morphology, trajectory, and energy tested against one .30-06 fired from about 120 metres. The page is careful with the headline shorthand: could not be matched is not the same as affirmatively excluded, and it keeps both readings live.

Autopsy Report Not Public

Two different claims get blurred together: that no autopsy happened, and that one happened and the report was never released. The second is the accurate one, and it is why almost nothing here is settled.
