@Cashloren contributed one of the key artifacts of the first-hour broadcast confusion: a September 10, 2025 clip of Glenn Beck on Megyn Kelly's program relaying that a well-placed source said Charlie Kirk "has a pulse." The clip is preserved on this site as documentation of how fast — and how uncertainly — early wound and status claims spread on live television.
Claims from X posts
- Sept 10, 2025 (post, ~461 likes, ~80k views) — Glenn Beck, visibly emotional on Megyn Kelly's show, says: "I spoke to somebody in a position who knows who said he has a pulse. So that's good news." Kirk's death was announced shortly after — the statement did not hold.
- The clip is filed in the wound-location cluster on Shot in the Heart as part of the immediate on-air confusion window in which "heart" and "chest" claims also spread.
- The site's photo-cluster analysis (exhibit page) treats it as a caution cutting both ways: if a well-sourced commentator can relay wrong information within the hour, early "heart" uniformity may be ordinary live-coverage chaos rather than anything else. No criticism of Beck or Kelly is intended or implied.
Investigative value
