ZachCostello_ — X Posts

@ZachCostello_ is one of the named pro-pattern voices in the Google Trends dispute — the most contested OSINT lane in the case — and a secondary amplifier in the custody-clock and scene-handling threads. The site's standing rule applies to everything below: Trends anomalies are leads, never identification of a living searcher, and never proof of foreign-state involvement.

Claims from X posts​

  • Argues (with the Baron Coleman ecosystem and @denton_doyle) that pre-event Google Trends activity on victim/witness names, Timpanogos hospital, surgeons, rifle-drop locations, and Israel/DC/Alabama geographies is irregular enough to investigate — the pro-pattern position indexed across the Google Searches Investigation Index, Israel IP patterns, July 20, 2025 anchor, and Trends deletion claims. Skeptics (@paramounttactcl, @MaxNordau) counter that Trends is sampled, unreproducible noise.
  • Shared screenshots showing UVU student alerts announced a suspect "in custody" ~12:42 PM — under 20 minutes after the shot — with a later alert reversing that the shooter had not been found; see 12:23 Shooting Time.
  • May 13, 2026 — Posted walkthroughs agreeing with Baron Coleman's custody clock analysis — recorded on the Baron Coleman timeline with the caution that amplification is not corroboration.
  • Amplified the Dan Merrell / Hardscape Utah courtyard-paving interview ("paver emergency" four days after the shooting) — see Dirt Removed.
  • Cited as a defender of the Trends work on the Baron Coleman profile: pre-event hospital/surgeon/drop-house spikes "remain irregular even if not definitive."

Investigative value​

A bridging account between the Trends-forensics camp and the custody-timeline camp. Its most concrete contribution is the campus-alert screenshots — a dated, checkable record of the false custody message that kept roughly ten thousand students in place.
