Brand states that six days after Charlie's death he spoke with two sources who were in a cabinet meeting and asked him to speak publicly because they were afraid:
Kash Patel [FBI Director], Tulsi Gabbard [DNI], the Vice President [Brand's audio is unclear — likely JD Vance], and others reportedly said "we're not looking at foreign involvement" and shut that down, and "we're not looking at any accomplices domestically."
Brand frames this as bare-minimum evidence of a cover-up of what really happened.
Status: Anonymous second-hand sourcing. Patel, Gabbard, and Vance have not publicly confirmed or denied Brand's account as of this writing. Treat as a reported allegation pending corroboration (meeting minutes, whistleblower filings, or on-record witnesses).
Israel lobby / Iran war context (Brand's claim)
Brand ties the cabinet allegation to Charlie's public text messages (described by Brand as already public) showing Charlie lobbying President Trump against the Iran war during the "midnight hammer" period, with "the Israel lobby on his ass." A few months later, Charlie was dead. Brand says he did not blame Israel "day one" but now, reviewing statements, names "elements running Israel" as "main suspects" — his assessment, not a government finding.

ADL "pager energy" reference (Brand's claim)
Brand paraphrases the head of the ADL (~two months before his video) comparing the operational energy of the Hezbollah exploding-pager attack to a posture "against the American people," needing the same infiltration genius. Brand's own words in the transcription:
"the head of the ADL saying two months ago, the same energy we had with Pagers killing Hamas [Hezbollah], exploding Pagers. We need the same energy against the American people. But we need the kind of genius that manufactured Apollo gold pages and infiltrated Hizbala [Hezbollah] for over a decade to prepare for this battle."

Brand briefly names Mark Levin as "making threats" and references reluctance to "arrest" Tucker Carlson without detail. These are monologue asides — not documented claims on this page.
