The September 9 Zoom Call With Israeli Officials

Frank Turek describing the September 9, 2025 Zoom call, 53 seconds. He names himself, Charlie Kirk, Blake Neff and Mikey McCoy as the people physically in the room. IPFS CID QmSWJ3kPpm6JfwanDp3tvXhm97e5SpRRimytvUZJCzXX4i. Full clip page: Frank Turek on the September 9 Zoom.

On the afternoon of September 9, 2025 — roughly twenty-four hours before he was killed — Charlie Kirk took a scheduled video call with two officials in Israel. We know this because one of the men sitting in the room with him has said so, on camera, by name, in the first person.

That man is Frank Turek, the Christian apologist and Kirk mentor who was feet from the stage the next day and rode in the SUV to the hospital. His account is the reason this page exists — and the reason it is contested.

What Turek Says Happened

Turek gives the account in a short podcast segment, speaking to a host he addresses only as "Jack." This site has not established which Jack. The relevant portion, transcribed in full from the clip above:

"We're out on a walk next day, September 9th. Charlie calls a meeting, a scheduled Zoom meeting, with two officials in Israel, one Jewish Defender of Israel in the United States. I'm in the room, with Charlie, Blake's in the room, Mikey's in and out. What do you think we're talking about, Jack? … We are talking about how the propaganda war against Israel is gaining ground, even though it's all lies and deception, and Charlie is asking these guys, how can I better defend the truth regarding Israel? … I was in this meeting. It lasted 50 minutes. This idea that Charlie was giving up on Israel is false."

— Frank Turek, on the clip above

Four things in that passage are specific enough to be checked, and they are the reason the clip matters more than most commentary:

  • A date. September 9, 2025 — the day before the assassination.
  • A duration. Fifty minutes. Turek states it as a fact he witnessed, not an estimate.
  • A participant list. Two officials in Israel, plus one person he describes as a "Jewish Defender of Israel in the United States."
  • A room. Turek himself, Kirk, "Blake," and "Mikey" in and out.

Who Was In The Room

Turek uses first names only. Both map to figures already documented across this investigation:

Named on the clipIdentified asRole
"Blake"Blake NeffKirk's longtime producer; also documented in the SUV and hospital timeline
"Mikey"Mikey McCoyTPUSA chief of staff, described by Tyler Bowyer as Kirk's "handler"

Both men are separately significant to the September 10 timeline, which is why their presence at a Zoom call about Israel the previous day is worth recording rather than passing over. Nothing here accuses either man of anything. Turek places them in a room; that is all this page claims.

Per the account, the meeting took place at TPUSA headquarters in Phoenix. Turek has described flying to Phoenix on the Sunday evening to spend Monday and Tuesday with Kirk before the Wednesday campus event at Utah Valley University.

Who Was On The Call — The Open Question

This is the part Turek does not answer, and it is the single most useful thing anyone could add to this page. He says "two officials in Israel." He does not say which officials, which ministry or office they served, or who arranged the call. He says "one Jewish Defender of Israel in the United States" — a description, not a name.

One name is on the record for a September 9 call. Rabbi Pesach Wolicki has publicly said he spoke with Kirk that evening for about an hour, and described the subject as how Kirk should answer Israel-related questions on his upcoming campus tour. That is a corroborated call on the same date with a compatible subject and a compatible length. Whether it is the same call Turek describes, or a second conversation later the same day, has not been established. Turek's call included two people in Israel; Wolicki's public description is of himself and Kirk.

A separate cluster of reporting describes an "intervention" at which Kirk was confronted by pro-Israel figures, with Josh Hammer, Seth Dillon, Bill Ackman and Natasha Hausdorff named among those present alongside Wolicki. Investigators disagree on when that meeting occurred — some place it in early August 2025 around the Hamptons meeting, others on September 9. This site does not resolve that, and does not assert that any of those individuals was on the call Turek describes. They are named here because they appear in circulating accounts of a differently-dated meeting, and readers tracing this thread will encounter them. None of them is accused of any wrongdoing.

Why This Collides With The September 8 Texts

Turek's closing line is not incidental. It is the whole point of the segment: "This idea that Charlie was giving up on Israel is false."

That sentence is a direct rebuttal to the best-documented message set in this entire investigation. On September 8, 2025, in a nine-person group chat that TPUSA spokesman Andrew Kolvet has publicly confirmed as genuine, Kirk wrote:

"Just lost another huge Jewish donor. $2 million a year because we won't cancel Tucker."

"Jewish donors play into all the stereotypes. I cannot and will not be bullied like this. Leaving me no choice but to leave the pro-Israel cause."

The full page on that chat is The September 8 Donor Group Chat. Those are Kirk's own authenticated words, not a retelling.

So the record now contains two accounts of consecutive days that point in opposite directions:

DateAccountSourcing
Sept 8Kirk writes he has "no choice but to leave the pro-Israel cause"Screenshots published; confirmed authentic by TPUSA's spokesman
Sept 9Kirk convenes a 50-minute call asking Israeli officials how to better defend IsraelFirst-person eyewitness account by Frank Turek, on camera

Both can be true at once, and the most ordinary reading is that they are. A man can write in anger on Monday that donor blackmail is pushing him out of a coalition, and sit down on Tuesday with people from that coalition to talk it through. That is what a person does when a relationship is breaking rather than broken. Turek's account is evidence about the call; it is not, on its own, evidence about what Kirk had concluded privately.

What it does do is narrow a question this section has carried for a long time: not whether Kirk was under pressure over Israel in his final week — that is documented — but who he was still talking to about it on his last full day alive. The answer, per an eyewitness, is two officials in Israel.

Why The Framing Deserves Scrutiny

Turek is a living person of good public standing and this page does not question his honesty. He is also the strongest single witness elsewhere in this investigation: he is the recipient of the texts in which Kirk wrote "I know they want me dead", and he has said Kirk told him directly the day before the event that "they're going to take me out." A witness whose testimony cuts against the state narrative in one place and against the Israel-motive narrative in another is exactly the kind of witness worth listening to carefully.

Two cautions travel with the clip anyway.

First, it is characterization, not record. Turek reports the meeting's purpose as he understood it. No recording, no calendar entry, no participant list and no Zoom log has been published. The Charlie Kirk Investigation Laws are the mechanism that would compel exactly this class of artifact into the open.

Second, the site's own record notes that for weeks after the killing, figures around Kirk omitted or minimized the September 8 "leaving the pro-Israel cause" message and pushed the opposite impression — until Candace Owens published the screenshots and Kolvet was obliged to confirm them. Turek's clip belongs to the same argument. That does not make it false. It means it should be weighed as one side of a live dispute rather than as a closing statement, which is how it is presented here.

Open Questions

  1. Who were the two officials in Israel? Names, offices, and who arranged the call.
  2. Is Turek's 50-minute call the same call Rabbi Wolicki has described, or a separate conversation the same day?
  3. Who is the "Jewish Defender of Israel in the United States" Turek refers to, and is that a description of a role or of an organization?
  4. Does a Zoom account, calendar invite, or recording of the September 9 meeting exist, and who holds it?
  5. Did the same call touch the donor dispute documented in the September 8 chat, or only campus-tour messaging?
  6. Was Turek interviewed by any investigator about this meeting, and does his statement appear in the case file?
  7. Kirk reportedly messaged multiple people "they are going to kill me" on this same day. Before or after the call?

That last question is the one worth the most. Both events are placed on September 9, 2025 by separate accounts. Nobody has yet published the ordering.
