Construction Site — 785 College Dr, Orem
An active construction site at 785 College Dr, Orem, UT 84058 (north of the UVU campus area) appears in both the official movement narrative and alternate-shooter threads. Investigators map it because a worker there described seeing someone in all-black tactical clothing close to the time of the shooting — a description that diverged from the later focus on Tyler Robinson in a T-shirt and jeans.
Dylan Hope eyewitness account (attributed)
According to commentary compiled in Charlie_Kirk.txt and social posts, Dylan Hope, a construction worker on site, described a man in a black trench coat, black cargo pants, and long greasy hair — matching early police dispatch language about a suspect in all black with a tactical helmet and mask.
Project notes also state that a person in black encountered the crew after the shooting; law enforcement reportedly showed workers a photo that did not match Tyler Robinson (Charlie_Kirk.txt — construction-site note).
Competing narratives
| Thread | Claim status |
|---|---|
| Affidavit / Losee rooftop shooter | Official charging narrative — Public Speaking Event |
| All-black roof prone video ~1 hr before shot | Citizen analysis — Shooting Locations |
| Hope / dispatch "tactical" description | Attributed eyewitness & dispatch — not adjudicated |
| @RealCandaceO — filmmaker says "Tyler Robinson is NOT the guy" | Attributed allegation — outfit/gun mismatch claimed |
We do not assert that Dylan Hope, any construction worker, or any person in black clothing committed a crime or knew of the assassination in advance.
Geographic role
Researcher maps place this site on the path Robinson may have walked after leaving the Losee Center rooftop sequence — connecting the construction zone to the wooded gun-recovery area and gun-drop property leads.

Laws (Charlie Kirk)
Worker statements, site security cameras, and dispatch audio tying this address to the first-hour suspect description are records the Charlie Kirk Investigation Laws may bring into public view.
Citizen Investigator Claims on X
@ProjectConstitu and related threads amplify Dylan Hope’s account that a construction colleague spoke with a man in all-black tactical clothing who asked to pass through the site immediately after the shooting, saying he was trying to get home safe — reportedly before sirens. Citizen investigators claim officers later canine-tracked that path and that early dispatch described a tactical helmet / mask figure matching roof video, not later T-shirt imagery.
This location is therefore treated as a competing-suspect geography problem, not a decorative map pin. All accounts here are attributed eyewitness/social claims. Hope and the unnamed excavator operator are living private persons; no crime is alleged against them. See Suspect Manhunt.
Interesting In This Area
- Dairy Queen CCTV shows a calm man six hours later.
- The wooded recovery strip sits along the same claimed escape path.
- Parcel ownership beside that strip has never been settled by deed.
- The courtyard event page carries the 12:23 PM anchor time.
Interesting In Other Areas
- Dylan Hope is recorded here as a reported witness, nothing more.
- Backpack fullness and trouser colour differ between the two filmed figures.
- Every proposed shot origin is tested against sight lines and acoustics.
- Patsy narratives are compiled as unproven allegations, never as findings.
