It enters this investigation for one reason: on Thursday, September 4, 2025 — six days before Charlie Kirk was killed at Utah Valley University — the Utah Lieutenant Governor, Deidre Henderson, was scheduled to have lunch here. On September 4, 2025, six days before the UVU shooting, Utah Lt. Gov. Deidre Henderson's public schedule put her at Cowboy's Smokehouse Cafe in Panguitch, Utah for an 11:30 a.m. lunch. Spencer Cox was in Washington, D.C., that day.
The post goes on to note that Henderson was at the September 12 press conference with Cox and FBI Director Kash Patel when Cox said "We got him" — the announcement that Tyler Robinson was in custody. Both claims match the public record; see Deidre Henderson for the September 12 photographs.
Why It Is Recorded
Citizen investigators map where state officials were in the days before September 10, and this lunch is one of the few pre-shooting entries that puts a senior Utah official at a named, public place outside the Salt Lake–Utah County corridor while the governor was out of state. The value is as a fixed, published time pin, not as evidence of anything.
Counterpoint: The lunch sits in the middle of a published rural-schools tour (Mona and Beaver on September 3; Tropic, Panguitch and Circleville on September 4). Meeting a county commission and its clerk/auditor — the official who runs county elections, which the lieutenant governor oversees — is routine. Nothing in the record connects this meal to Charlie Kirk.
