Deseret News (LDS Church–owned, Salt Lake City) appears in two high-signal roles:

  1. Cartridge engraving reporting — quoted Governor Spencer Cox on markings on recovered ammunition, including phrases reported as "Notices, bulges, OwO what's this?", "Hey fascist! CATCH!", and "O Bella ciao…" lyrics on an unfired casing (per research file summary).
