Buses to Move Patients (Claims)
:::caution Legal Disclaimer This page documents an unverified transport claim. No bus company, driver, hospital, or official is accused of wrongdoing. The shuttle story may be false or incomplete. :::
In the same July 30, 2026 segment that alleged a morning clear-out of the Timpanogos Regional Hospital ER, Candace Owens said patients were told around 11:30 AM they would leave aboard shuttles for Intermountain / Utah Valley Hospital. Charlie Kirk was shot about 12:24 PM. This page focuses only on the vehicle mechanism — buses / shuttles — not the full medical narrative.
Where the buses went: the destination is Utah Valley Hospital (UVH) at 1034 N 500 W in Provo, operated by Intermountain Health. It is a Level II trauma center, about four miles from Timpanogos Regional Hospital in Orem, which is run by a different company — MountainStar Healthcare, a division of HCA Healthcare. Posts that say the buses went to "UVU" or "UVU ER" mean this hospital: UVU is Utah Valley University, the campus where the shooting happened, and it has no emergency room. Getting the destination name right matters here more than on most pages, because a vendor trip sheet or a booking record is searched by the address it delivered to.

What Was Said
Owens (as clipped and reposted on X):
…patients were informed that they would be transferred aboard shuttles to Intermountain hospital… Somebody somewhere drove that shuttle bus, booked the shuttle bus, saw the shuttle bus arriving at Intermountain hospital…
She framed the buses as the hard-to-hide part of the story: a booking, a driver, a receiving dock, witnesses. The appeal was for those people to contact her show — not a claim that she already held a contract or photo.
Viral posts on July 30–31 used "shuttles," "shuttle bus," and "buses" interchangeably (@danksterintel, @MarioNawfal).
Why Buses Are the Most Documentable Piece
If a multi-patient ER transfer by bus happened, ordinary commercial and clinical systems usually leave traces:
- Vendor purchase order or hospital transport contract
- Dispatch / GPS for the vehicles
- Driver timesheet and passenger manifest
- Parking / curb camera at Timpanogos and at Utah Valley
- Receiving-dock notes when patients arrived
Owens's "always a trail" point is about that paper trail. It is not evidence that any of those items exist for this morning — only that investigators should demand them.
Protocol Pushback Circulating on X
Replies the same day challenged the logistics:
- @TheMatrixOfNat argued you "can't just have a random shuttle bus come and pick people up" given ER liability.
- @grok replies on related threads noted that standard ED-to-ED transfer outside mass-casualty events typically uses individual ambulances, not a shared shuttle, and that no hospital statement or local news had confirmed a pre-shooting bus relocation.
Those are practice norms and absence-of-reporting arguments — useful context, not a substitute for released logs.
What Has Not Appeared (as of this writing)
Citizen discussion has not produced, on the public posts reviewed for this page:
- A named bus or shuttle company
- License plates, fleet numbers, or photographs of vehicles at Timpanogos that morning
- A named driver or dispatcher
- A published contract or invoice
Until one of those appears (or a hospital confirms diversion), the bus claim remains assertion without exhibit.
Camera Dependency
Owens links the "no trail" worry to reported seizure of hospital cameras (see Hospital Security Cameras Removed and Cover Up — Hospital Footage). Even if exterior lot footage is held, vendor and payroll records sit outside the hospital NVR and would still settle whether buses were booked.
Records That Would Settle the Bus Claim
- Timpanogos / Intermountain transport vendor contracts for September 10, 2025
- Dispatch tickets and GPS for any multi-patient shuttle that morning
- Driver manifests (de-identified patients OK)
- Lot and dock video if retained by hospital, city, or federal agencies
