Patients Moved to Another Wing (Claims)

:::caution Legal Disclaimer This page documents an anonymous, uncorroborated claim. Nothing here asserts that Timpanogos Regional Hospital, any administrator, medical professional, or other living person withheld care, falsified records, knew of a crime in advance, or acted illegally. The account is unverified and may simply be mistaken. :::

On July 30–31, 2026, X discussion of the Charlie Kirk case focused on a Candace Owens segment: an unnamed source allegedly told her that, in the 10 o'clock hour on September 10, 2025, staff at Timpanogos Regional Hospital directed everyone in the emergency room into a different wing of the same building. The shot at Utah Valley University was about 12:24 PM; transport to the hospital is commonly estimated near 12:50 PM. If the wing move happened as described, it began more than two hours before any hospital could have been reacting to the shooting.

This page isolates that first step — the intra-hospital relocation. The later claim that patients were then sent to another facility is covered on Patients Moved to Another Hospital. The umbrella write-up is ER Cleared Before Shooting.

What Was Said

Owens prefaced the account with "I am told" — she is relaying a tip, not a document. In the clip widely reposted by @danksterintel and @MarioNawfal:

…at some point in the 10 o'clock AM hour, on September 10th… over 2 hours before Charlie was shot. The hospital staff directed everyone who was in the emergency room into a different wing of the hospital. People were not sure what was going on.

Reposts on July 31 compressed the point: the ER was "cleared" first inside Timpanogos, then patients and files left the campus. Commentators such as @RichiOfficially stressed the sequence: wing first, other hospital second.

Timeline as Asserted

Time (local, Sept 10, 2025)Asserted event
~10:00–10:59 AMER patients directed to a different wing of Timpanogos
~11:30 AMPatients told of transfer to Intermountain / Utah Valley (see other pages)
~12:24 PMCharlie Kirk shot at UVU
~12:50 PMApproximate arrival at Timpanogos (investigative estimate)

Why This Element Matters Separately

A same-building wing move is different from a full diversion:

  • It can look, to patients, like temporary crowding control or a drill — which is why ordinary explanations matter.
  • It would still empty the primary ER bay if true, matching later claims that the ER looked unusually empty when Kirk arrived (see Events at Hospital).
  • It is easier for a facility to order than chartering shuttles — and harder for outsiders to prove without census logs or staff assignment sheets.

None of that makes the claim true. It only explains why investigators treat the wing step as its own records question.

Ordinary Explanations

Hospitals relocate ER patients inside a building for routine reasons the clip does not rule out:

  • Emergency-preparedness drills and accreditation exercises
  • HVAC, water, power, contamination, or construction in the ER bay
  • Staffing / census rebalancing within the facility
  • Advance posture for a large nearby public event (capacity planning, not proof of crime)

Skeptical replies on X the same day argued the logistics do not match standard ER practice. @TheMatrixOfNat wrote that random mass moves "make absolutely no sense" without a stated medical reason and that liability would block improvised relocations. Counter-posts claiming "official timelines" showed normal operations have not been tied here to a named hospital press release.

Verification Status

As of this writing:

  • Source: anonymous tip via Candace Owens
  • No public log, incident report, or named staff witness has been produced for a 10am wing move
  • Grok replies on the viral threads consistently note the absence of independent confirmation (hospital statements, local news, investigation findings)

Timpanogos Regional Hospital and its staff are not accused of wrongdoing.

Records That Would Settle the Wing Claim

  1. Timpanogos ER census by bay / wing for the morning of September 10, 2025
  2. Any internal incident, drill, or facilities ticket authorizing relocation
  3. Staff assignment sheets for the ER and the destination wing that hour
  4. Badge / access logs if the facility uses electronic doors between wings
