Frank Turek's Text and Email
Frank Turek is a Christian apologist and a mentor figure to Charlie Kirk. Unlike most accounts in this section, Turek's is first-person: he says the messages were sent to him, and he has said so on the record himself rather than through an intermediary.
What Turek has said
Turek has stated publicly that in the weeks leading up to the assassination, Kirk texted him:
"I know they want me dead. (KM-05) I'm under the gun right now — please pray for me."
He has also said that the day before the event Kirk told him directly that "they're going to take me out," and that he had received an email from Kirk weeks earlier saying the same thing.
Why this account carries extra weight
Three features separate it from the rest:
- First-person. Turek is not relaying what someone told him. He is the recipient.
- Two channels, two dates. A text in the final weeks and an earlier email are separate artifacts. If both exist, they corroborate each other independently of any witness's memory.
- An email is recoverable. Unlike Signal or Telegram, email sits on servers with retention. If Turek still has the message, it can be produced with headers, and headers are hard to fake convincingly.
That last point is the practical one. Of everything described across this section, Turek's email is the single most obtainable piece of evidence. It requires no subpoena of a dead man's phone and no cooperation from a platform — only the recipient's willingness to publish it.
What is still missing
Turek has described the messages in interviews. This investigation is not aware of any published screenshot of the text, or any published copy of the email with headers. Until one appears, the account rests on his testimony. Turek is a living person of good public standing; nothing here questions his honesty. The point is only that description and document are different things, and the document appears to be within reach.

Open questions
- Does Turek still possess the email, and will he publish it with full headers?
- What was the exact date of the email, and does it predate the donor group chat?
- Was Turek interviewed by any investigator, and is his statement in the case file?
- Did Kirk name anyone in either message, or only "they"?
