Harrison Smith's Account

Harrison Smith is an Infowars host. He went public stating that Charlie Kirk had told him, in the period before the assassination, that he feared being taken out over his shifting position on Israel.

What is attributed to Smith

Investigation notes record Smith as a named, on-the-record source for the account that Kirk expressed fear of being killed. Compilations of the widely circulated "If I go against Israel, I think they will kill me" quote frequently cite an August 14, 2025 Harrison Smith report as their origin, including posts such as @Rahul_EIWF and @jakeshieldsajj.

Why the origin question matters here

Smith's account is important less for what it adds than for what it explains. A very large number of the circulating quotes trace back to a small number of original reports. If the August 13–14 material and the September 9 material both flow through the same handful of tellers, then the apparent weight of "many independent sources" is partly an illusion of amplification.

This page therefore records Smith's report as one origin point, not as independent confirmation of Frank Turek's, Andrew Kolvet's, or Candace Owens' accounts. Whether those are genuinely independent is one of the open questions of the whole section.

Weighing the source

Smith is a named person speaking under his own byline, which is stronger than anonymous sourcing. He also works for an outlet with a strongly stated editorial position, which is a reason for readers to look for corroboration rather than a reason to discount him. Both things are true at once. Nothing here alleges wrongdoing by Smith or by anyone he names.

Open questions

  1. What exactly did Smith say Kirk told him, in Smith's own words and on what date?
  2. Was the communication in person, by phone, or in writing — and does any artifact survive?
  3. Did Smith's report precede or follow the other August 2025 accounts?
  4. Has Smith been contacted by investigators?

Best understanding of when he said this

Best understanding: Charlie's underlying remark (if made) was on or before AUG 13, 2025, the day Harrison Smith published the third-hand relay. Chart domain is mid-AUG only — not the whole summer.

Date range (working model): Domain: AUG 6–14 2025 · Peak on/before AUG 13 (Smith post day)

The chart below is not a government finding. Bar height is relative likelihood from public claims (X posts, interviews, investigation indexes, master-file notes). Domain is trimmed to where likelihood is non-trivial — no multi-week empty stretch.
