Laurie Cardoza-Moore's Message to Charlie Kirk

Screenshot of a long text message reportedly sent to Charlie Kirk

On July 25, 2026, an X account posted a screenshot of a long message it described as "this text that Charlie received from Laurie Cardoza-Moore, just days before he was assassinated." The screenshot is a phone display timestamped 2:45 PM. No sender field, no thread, and no reply from Charlie Kirk are visible in the image.

Laurie Cardoza-Moore is a Christian Zionist activist and the founder of Proclaiming Justice to the Nations. She is a living person. She has not been charged with, accused by any authority of, or connected by any evidence to Charlie Kirk's death, and this page makes no such claim.

The full text of the message

The message, transcribed from the screenshot, reads:

All the people that trusted you, Jews and Christians. Including me! Why would you platform anti-Semites like Candace and Tucker? There are many Evangelical Christian Zionists who would never give these people the opportunity to spew their hatred. I'm one of them. You say people are accusing you of being an antisemite because you disagree with the Israeli government. Well what is it exactly that you disagree with? You threatened Jews and Christians with your 30 mn followers? Are you kidding?!

Be very careful, Charlie. You are in violation of the 9th Commandment, by bearing false witness against your brother, Judah. When was the last time you read your Bible, Charlie. I'm coming to you as a believer. Gen. 12:3, Obadiah and many more prophets warn those who curse Israel will be cursed.

Your TPUSA Tampa event was a disaster! Michele Bachmann was booed and about 10 percent walked out on her when she talked about standing with Israel? You brag about how you convinced all these young voters to vote for Trump but you can't convince them to stand with our Jewish brethren?

This is not a joke, Charlie. I'm coming to you as a sister in the faith. You have accomplished so much by the hand of The Almighty, but He is going to lift His hand from you. Don't fall for Tucker, Candace and the rest. The Jews are under attack. G-D warns us in the last days that He will wipe out the descendants of Edom because they stood by while their brother Jacob/Israel was held in captivity and did nothing. Don't be counted among the Edomites.

Why investigators point to it

The message lands squarely inside the dispute that runs through the rest of this section. It names Candace Owens and Tucker Carlson as the people Kirk should not be platforming — the same two names that appear in the September 8 donor group chat, where Kirk reportedly wrote that he had lost a $2 million-a-year donor over refusing to cancel Carlson. It also references the TPUSA Tampa event (the July 2025 Student Action Summit) as evidence that Kirk's audience was turning against pro-Israel messaging. Citizen investigators treat it as one data point in a pattern of pressure directed at Kirk from within the pro-Israel coalition during the summer of 2025.

Investigation notes also record that Cardoza-Moore was named by the Jerusalem Post as a leading American Christian Zionist, and that she reportedly departed the Heritage Foundation over its refusal to cancel Tucker Carlson — the same objection the message raises.

The case against calling it a threat

Read on its face, the message is a religious rebuke, not a statement of intent to harm. Its warnings are theological: that God will "lift His hand" from Kirk, that those who curse Israel are cursed, that he should not be "counted among the Edomites." Warning someone of divine consequence is protected speech and is common in this idiom. Nothing in the text says or implies that any person would hurt him.

Several other cautions apply:

  • Provenance is a third-party account. The screenshot was posted by @Mini_111111, not by Kirk, his estate, or Cardoza-Moore. There is no metadata, no thread context, and no visible sender identity.
  • No authentication. No party has confirmed the message is genuine, and no reply from Kirk is shown.
  • "Days before" is the poster's framing. The 2:45 PM timestamp in the screenshot carries no date.
  • No response has been recorded here. If Cardoza-Moore has commented publicly on the screenshot, that statement should be added to this page.

Open questions

  1. Is the screenshot authentic, and what date does it carry?
  2. Was the message sent directly to Kirk, or forwarded into a group?
  3. Has Cardoza-Moore been asked about it publicly, and what did she say?
  4. Does the message appear anywhere in the material Candace Owens released, or is it separate?
