- On August 25, 2025 — the exact contract delivery date — a private aircraft departed Heber City, Utah and landed at John Tune Airport in Nashville, Tennessee.
- John Tune Airport is the closest airport to the AES facility, less than 60 km from McEwen, Tennessee.
- Heber City is a small town of roughly 17,000 people; researchers describe private flights from Heber City directly to Nashville as extremely rare.
- No return flight to Heber City was logged. Researchers note that if the trip involved collecting energetic material, flying home with explosives would carry obvious security risk — offered as their reasoning, not as proof.
Heber City is also the closest general-aviation field to the UVU event site, which is why researchers treat the Utah end of the flight as event-adjacent.
