Stated fairly: the security team's job in that moment was to get Charlie Kirk off the stage and to a vehicle, and that is what they did. They were standing near him because protecting him was their job. A black-SUV extraction in under a minute is what a protective detail is trained to do after a casualty.
Singling out an individual on the detail, with no charging document and no recovered weapon from that person, exposes a private person to harassment and threats. Official-side accounts treat naming staff as an attack on the people who were there for Charlie, and as a distraction from the man the state has charged. Why it matters for Tyler Robinson
Alternate-shooter claims that name individuals without evidence tend to make every question about the case easier to dismiss. The questions that could actually clear Robinson are about the wound path, the fragment and the cause of death. Investigators say those should be answered with the trajectory and forensic data, which would settle this row and the charge against Robinson at the same time.
