Wargames-Specialist Claim (Attributed Commentary)
Commentary compiled in the investigation file — driven by Candace Owens' podcast and X threads — raises a background claim about a "Blake Neff" who reportedly served as a wargames specialist for the U.S. Marine Corps War College (2016–2020), facilitating simulations with colonels and lieutenant colonels, before being dropped from the program after CNN exposed pseudonymous racist posts.
Identity caution: It is not established that the TPUSA producer named on this page is the same individual as the Marine Corps War College figure or the writer publicly reported to have resigned from a cable-news program in 2020 over pseudonymous posts. Fort Huachuca "Captain Neff" Claim (Attributed / Unverified)
The same commentary chain ties a relative to a September 9, 2025 meeting at Fort Huachuca — the day before the shooting:
- A military tipster cited on Owens' show alleged a session at Fort Huachuca packed with 12+ lieutenant colonels, described as a "final op planning session."
- Threads allege the interrogation/session was led by a "Captain Neff," speculated to be Blake Neff's cousin, Lt. Col. Daniel Neff — and note Brian Harpole was reportedly "spotted leaving with a mystery gray-haired boss."
