Citizen commentary on X.com describes Kozak as a liberal UVU student and TikToker who later spoke publicly calling for peace. His interviews and any retained phone or stage-area footage could corroborate or challenge the official rifle-shot narrative, especially when compared against eyewitness mobile video and Witnesses accounts describing a loud pop rather than a conventional rifle crack. - Asked the last question Charlie Kirk took from the audience before the shooting.
- Was present in the UVU courtyard during the TPUSA "Prove Me Wrong" event.
- Gave post-event interviews about being the final questioner, including a widely discussed September 12, 2025 Channel 5 interview with Andrew Callaghan.
- Publicly appealed for peace in media appearances after the killing.
The investigation file also notes Kozak's reported affiliation with the Unf*ck America counter-narrative tour — a separate political organization from TPUSA that describes itself as a counter to Turning Point USA. Two short video clips have circulated on X in which a commentator questions Hunter Kozak's hand movements on camera. We post the clips and the poster's own words for the record, framed strictly as an unanswered question and not as any allegation of wrongdoing.
In the words of the person who raised it: "The original video poster asked a question. We only posted it, not because we said that he knew beforehand, but because we are asking if anybody understands why he would shake his hands the same way before it happened and then do it again when it happened. We are not claiming he did anything wrong, but we are asking if anybody knows any information on this."
Important context and counterpoint. Hunter Kozak is a living person who, according to reporting, was questioned by the FBI and cleared of any involvement. Major news outlets and law enforcement have treated his on-camera reaction as a genuine startle and shock response to a sudden gunshot. Involuntary hand-to-head and hand-to-body movements are common, well-documented reactions to a sudden loud noise, and by themselves indicate nothing about a person's knowledge or intent. Nothing on this page asserts — and no evidence cited here establishes — that Kozak had advance knowledge of, signaled for, or participated in any crime.
