Laurie Cardoza-Moore

:::note Attribution and fairness Laurie Cardoza-Moore is a living person. She has not been charged with, arrested for, or accused by any authority in connection with Charlie Kirk's death, and this site makes no such allegation. She appears in the investigation solely because a screenshot of a message attributed to her circulated publicly. The message, on its face, is a religious argument — not a statement of intent to cause harm. Its authenticity has not been independently confirmed. :::

Why she appears in the investigation

On July 25, 2026, an X account published a screenshot of a lengthy message it described as having been received by Charlie Kirk from Cardoza-Moore "just days before he was assassinated." The message criticizes Kirk for platforming Candace Owens and Tucker Carlson, invokes scripture warning that those who curse Israel will be cursed, and states that God "is going to lift His hand from you."

The full text, the source post, and a detailed discussion of why the message should not be read as a threat of physical harm are on the dedicated page: Laurie Cardoza-Moore's Message to Charlie Kirk.

Background

Cardoza-Moore is the founder and president of Proclaiming Justice to the Nations, a Christian Zionist advocacy organization. Her public work focuses on Evangelical support for Israel, textbook and curriculum advocacy, and countering antisemitism. Investigation notes record that the Jerusalem Post has named her among the most prominent Christian Zionists in America and describe her as of Sephardic Jewish descent.

Reported Heritage Foundation departure

Investigation notes state that she reportedly departed the Heritage Foundation over its refusal to cancel Tucker Carlson. That account is recorded on the Heritage Foundation page as circulating research, not as a confirmed fact. It is relevant here only because it reflects the same objection the circulated message raises, and because it places her within the broader donor- and coalition-pressure story documented in the September 8 donor group chat.

What is not claimed

  • Not claimed: that she threatened Charlie Kirk.
  • Not claimed: that she had knowledge of, involvement in, or connection to his death.
  • Not claimed: that the screenshot is authentic — it has not been verified.
  • Not claimed: that her advocacy is unlawful or improper in any way.

Religious rebuke, however forceful, is protected expression. Her inclusion here documents a piece of circulating material and nothing more.

  2. Has Cardoza-Moore commented publicly on it? If so, her response should be added here.
  3. Did Kirk reply, and does any reply survive?
  4. Is the reported Heritage Foundation departure confirmed by any primary source?
