According to her commentary circulated on X, the overlap spreadsheets that appear to show Israeli or Egyptian jets "following" Charlie and Erika Kirk rely on loose matching criteria, and tighten dramatically when the parameters are narrowed.

  • Methodology challenge. Wheeler reportedly argued that the overlap tallies count a "match" whenever an Israel/Egyptian jet was within a broad region (tens of miles) and within roughly plus-or-minus three days of a Kirk location — not at the same airport on the same day. In her telling, "when you narrow the parameters to Egyptian planes landing on the same day in the same location, the overlap dwindles to one — on 9/10 in Utah."
  • Supporting critiques. Other reviewers cited alongside Wheeler flagged UTC-versus-local time-zone errors and misattributed locations in the underlying data. These rebuttals are themselves online commentary; this site presents them for balance, not as the final word.
