SU-BND Detail Panel at Provo
What This Image Shows
A close photograph of a screen showing the Flightradar24 detail panel for SU-BND.
The fields read: SUBND, Private owner, type GLF4, PVU PROVO, MDT (UTC-06:00); AIRCRAFT TYPE (GLF4) Gulfstream 4SP; COUNTRY OF REG. Egypt; REGISTRATION SU-BND; SERIAL NUMBER (MSN) 1332; age 27 years; BAROMETRIC ALT. 0 ft, VERTICAL SPEED 0 fpm, TRACK 180 degrees. A photograph of the twin-engine jet in flight sits above, and the panel offers Recent SU-BND flights, speed and altitude graphs, 3D view and route.
Two details are worth noting. The operator field reads "Private owner" rather than a government entity, in contrast to SU-BTT, which trackers list as Egypt Government -- a discrepancy in how the two aircraft are classified that has not been explained. And the aircraft is 27 years old, an ageing Gulfstream IV rather than a modern jet.
The zero altitude and zero vertical speed place it on the ground at Provo when the panel was captured, during the period researchers report it stationed there.
