About This Cluster​

Researchers following the aircraft thread cited a defense-trade article at The War Zone (TWZ) headlined "Army Wants To Test Air-Launched Drones From A Global Express Business Jet" as the published basis for the claim that a Global 6500 airframe could be used to launch and recover small drones. After the story circulated in connection with N1098L and the September 10, 2025 shooting, that URL stopped resolving. This cluster preserves what the page looks like now, which is the whole reason the sub-cluster exists — a citation that no longer loads is not proof of anything on its own, but it is the kind of gap that has to be recorded rather than argued about later from memory.

The image on this page is a full capture of the TWZ 404 page: the site's navigation bar across the top, a centered message reading "404 We couldn't find that page," a search box, a grid of category buttons, and a sidebar of recent articles. It shows the state of the site at the moment of capture and nothing more. Researchers have read the removal as suppression; the ordinary alternative explanations — a URL change, a content-management migration, an editorial retraction — have not been ruled out either, and TWZ has not published a statement on this site's record explaining the change.
