What N1098L Does, According to Perplexity

The answer states that the aircraft "is a next-generation airborne platform used primarily for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) missions as part of the High Accuracy Detection and Exploitation System (HADES) program," and that "its core function is to enhance deep sensing capabilities, enabling extended-range detection, surveillance, and exploitation of threats at high altitudes and over long dur..." Three numbered source citations are attached.
The substance here is uncontroversial and matches published defense reporting: HADES is a real Army program, the Global 6500 is its airframe, and the mission is long-range sensing. What the answer does not do -- and cannot -- is say anything about what this particular aircraft was doing over Utah on September 10, 2025. Answers of this kind are useful for establishing the platform's role and useless for establishing intent.
Note also the callsign spelling: this screenshot reads AXLE10, while the Flightradar24 captures elsewhere in this cluster read AXEL10. That discrepancy runs through the investigation's notes and is worth resolving before either spelling is cited.
