The article describes planned Army trials of a capability. It does not report that any launch took place.
The value of keeping both this and the companion capture is provenance. Two independent accounts posted the same source article in the same window, which fixes when it entered circulation and confirms the article was live and publicly linkable at that time -- the point at issue once the URL began returning a 404.
