An ADS-B Exchange capture for N888KG. The sidebar reads Hex AC3C75, Reg. N888KG, United States, DB flags: LADD, Type CL30, 2013 BOMBARDIER BD-100 Challenger 300, registered to N888KG LLC. Telemetry at the moment captured: groundspeed 266 kt, barometric altitude 8,425 ft and falling, WGS84 altitude 8,750 ft, vertical rate -1,856 ft/min, track 173.7 degrees, position 37.182, -111.503. The map shows the track over Utah and northern Arizona.
Two fields carry weight. The LADD flag is the FAA's Limiting Aircraft Data Displayed programme -- the owner has requested that the tail number be suppressed from public trackers, which is why FlightAware shows a block notice for this aircraft while ADS-B Exchange, which does not honour the block, still shows it. The coordinates put the aircraft just north of the Arizona line near Page, descending steeply on a southbound heading.
That descent toward the Page area is the concrete basis for the claim that the flight was heading for a remote strip. It is worth separating what is recorded -- position, speed, altitude, heading -- from what is inferred, which is destination and purpose. No landing at Tuba City or anywhere else in that area has been documented from this data.
