The chain of previous registrations reads VR-BJS, HB-VIN, N100WH, EC-EQX, N96AF, 8P-KAM, N770AF, N147PS, N147TA, N650HM and finally N888KG, against operators including Aileron Anstalt, Willhead Aviation Inc, Gestair Executive Jet SA, Airflite Inc, Flight Services Group Inc, Helicol of Colombia, Incline Air Group LLC, Tanimura and Antle Inc, Flight Leasing Inc and KG and SA LLC.
A long registration chain across multiple countries reads as suspicious to some researchers, so it is worth being clear about what it actually indicates: business jets change hands and registries routinely over decades, and Bermudan, Swiss and Spanish registrations in a used-aircraft history are commonplace rather than remarkable. The record is preserved because provenance questions have been raised, not because the chain itself shows anything unusual.
