These two screenshots document the registration status of N59906, the Piper PA-31-350 Navajo Chieftain operated by survey contractor MARC Inc. The FAA registry captures show the aircraft's registration listed as "In Question," with the owner recorded as "REGISTRATION PENDING" and an application submitted on July 31, 2025 by ALPHA WHISKEY 2 LLC of Brandon, Mississippi. Researchers preserved these records because paperwork on this airframe was in flux weeks before the assassination.

N59906 drew attention after ADS-B data reportedly showed it making four low passes over the UVU campus between 11:01 AM and 11:35 AM on September 10, 2025 — the last one ending minutes before the alleged shooter was reportedly first seen on campus surveillance. The aircraft type is equipped for high-resolution photography and LiDAR mapping, so researchers have asked who chartered the flights and whether the imagery captured the event area. The unsettled registration adds one more open question about who controlled the aircraft.
