About This Cluster
This cluster is the operator-and-airframe research file behind N1098L — who owns and flies it, what company stands behind that owner, and what the aircraft actually is versus what people online said it was. It matters because the strongest counter to the spy-plane theory has always been "that jet is not configured to do what you claim," and the strongest support has always been "look who operates it." Both arguments are argued from the documents collected here rather than from assertion.
Several captures are AI-assistant answers and mobile browser screenshots explaining that LASAI Aviation operates as an arm of Leidos, the Reston, Virginia defense and technology contractor, and that Leidos runs a Defense and Intelligence division covering "cybersecurity, signals intelligence, and mission support" plus flight operations for the US Army Geospatial Center and the Nevada Test and Training Range. Others document N808LP, described in the caption as "the first HADES prototype aircraft at the Bombardier Defense facility in Wichita, Kansas," with a FlightAware log showing a Wichita to Hagerstown leg on December 4, 2024, and an FAA-style registration summary listing a 2023 BD-700-1A10 with an Experimental/Normal airworthiness class. One image is an explicit debunk graphic: it labels a dark military-style jet "a rendering of a FUTURE ME-11B aircraft" and the white Global 6500 below it "This is a REAL plane," which is the point researcher @tjphager has pressed in arguing that renderings of a future HADES configuration are being mistaken for the actual aircraft. The full AeroAmerica sales brochure for serial 60098 is here as well.
Read this cluster against N1098L Spy Plane, which weighs both sides, and ISR Operations for how these platforms are normally tasked. The published HADES program reporting is preserved in Articles, and the removed-article claim is in Cover Up. The parent section is Planes.
