Photo and CAD Side by Side With Vector Lines
What This Image Shows
A livestream frame that puts a real photograph and the CAD reconstruction side by side. The photograph shows the crowd under the white canopy printed THE AMERICAN COMEBACK and PROVE ME WRONG; the model beside it reproduces the same canopy as a wireframe, with red circular target overlays and blue vector lines drawn through it. Two image files are open in the workspace, named Camera Pointing 1.PNG and Vapor Cloud 3.PNG.
Side-by-side registration is the validation step: if the model is built correctly, the wireframe should line up with the photograph taken from the same viewpoint, and once it does, any vector drawn in the model can be read back onto the real scene.
The second file name, Vapor Cloud, points to the other strand of this analysis — a claimed visible disturbance in the air, which some researchers read as a muzzle signature and others as a compression artefact or dust. What the presenters conclude from these vectors is their own reading and is contested. See Acoustic Two-Event Split, Alternative Kill Mechanisms, and Mic Explosion Video Analysis.
