On the grass beside the kneeling agent is a yellow tent-shaped marker with the number 8 printed on it. That single detail is why this frame is worth more than it first appears: it fixes at least eight separately catalogued points along this stretch of ground on the day the search was photographed.
Wire photographs like this one are among the few contemporaneous records of the search that exist in public, because the official documentation has not been released.
