Bagging Evidence Marker 16 Near a House
What This Image Shows
Three officers in tactical uniforms scan a dry grassy field directly beside a residential property, a red-brick suburban house visible among the trees behind them. The officer in the centre holds a clear zip-top plastic bag, and inside it is a yellow tent marker printed with the number 16.
Two things are worth noting. The search has reached at least the sixteenth catalogued point, and it has moved off the roadside and into open ground adjacent to private homes — the neighbourhood the walk path runs through rather than the campus itself.
That geography is the reason this material sits next to the map images in this cluster. The route from the campus to the wooded recovery area passes directly behind these houses, and the residential search is the physical counterpart to the aerial reconstructions.
