These two charts carry the energy argument at the heart of the ballistics debate: whether the wound seen on video is consistent with a .30-06 Springfield rifle round. One image compares bullet sizes — the .30-06 dwarfing the common 9mm — and the other compares muzzle energy, roughly 3,950 Joules for a 180-grain .30-06 against about 482 Joules for a 9mm, an eight-fold gap. Both charts were shared by @HolonCitizen in April 2026 and are the same graphics used on the written analysis page.
The argument the charts support, as ballistics commentators frame it: a round carrying nearly 4,000 Joules does not stop until the energy is spent, and a cervical-spine strike should produce catastrophic exit disruption — not the contained neck injury pattern described publicly. Commentators including the Red's Randumb Ruminations breakdown argue the small entry, the absence of a massive exit, and the audio signature fit a lower-energy event better than a .30-06 fired from roughly 142 meters.
