What This Image Shows​

A cropped daylight exterior photograph of the campus buildings with a dense crowd gathered at the lower right. Three bright red vector arrows have been drawn onto the image, each originating at a different level of the building on the left and angling down toward the crowd.

The three arrows are three hypotheses, not three shots. Each one starts from a different height — a rooftop, an upper floor, a lower vantage — and the graphic exists to show how differently the descending angle behaves depending on which one you pick. A shot from the roof arrives shallow at that distance; a shot from a lower opening arrives closer to level.

That difference is the entire argument. The state's account places the shot on the rooftop of the Losee Center, and the objection researchers raise is that the wound path described in medical summaries fits a much flatter trajectory than a rooftop at that range produces.
