Post: Claim the Shot Came From Behind

Phone screenshot of an X post with a low-resolution video thumbnail and a hand-drawn red circle behind the speaker head, with text claiming the shot came from behind

What This Image Shows

A phone screenshot of a post on X from a verified account posting as ADAM, showing 344K views. The attached video thumbnail is a low-resolution close-up with a hand-drawn red circle marking a faint detail on the backdrop behind the speaker's head.

The post text reads: this looks like the shot came from BEHIND, not the front; former marine sniper @ZebBoykin agrees and has a YouTube video you should watch; there was a CAMERA behind Charlie that could settle this; TPUSA is HIDING it. The final line is the poster's characterization, and the organization has not confirmed or denied the existence of such a recording on the public record.

The direction-of-fire question is one of the two or three load-bearing disputes in this whole investigation, because the state's case depends on a single elevated shot from the front-right. Independent acoustic work has been used to argue for a different origin, and other analysts dispute that work. The competing readings are collected at Acoustic Two-Event Split and in the Acoustics Expert sub-cluster. Which cameras existed and what became of their footage is covered at TPUSA Production Footage and Crime Scene Camera Actions.
