Pageant Visit to Fort Huachuca — Questioned Online

This screenshot shows a post by the account SilentRebel (@xistheplacetobe) embedding an Instagram post. The embedded photograph shows three people — described in the post as Miss Arizona 2023 Tiffany Ticlo and Miss Arizona's Outstanding Teen Alexis Miranda, plus a man in a blazer — standing outdoors beneath a large blue sign reading "HEADQUARTERS U.S. ARMY INTELLIGENCE CENTER OF EXCELLENCE AND FORT HUACHUCA ALVARADO HALL."

The post's text asks: "Is this a usual stop on their tour? Asking for a friend," and tags @RealCandaceO. The Instagram caption underneath describes a Sierra Vista tour, thanking the county and local directors for connecting them with the Sheriff's department, and mentions exploring nature and attending a national Buffalo Soldier event.

The insinuation is thin and the caption answers it. Sierra Vista is a military town built around Fort Huachuca, and a base visit is an unremarkable stop on a local goodwill tour that also included the Sheriff's department and a Buffalo Soldier commemoration. The two young women named have no connection to this case, are not accused of anything, and appear here only because someone posted their tour photograph. Nothing here establishes that any person or agency had advance knowledge of the assassination or any role in it. Prosecutors have charged a domestic suspect who has not been convicted.
