The underlying claim is a correlation claim advanced by researcher Sam Parker: that search interest in the bill drafting attorney, filtered to one country, spiked shortly before the bill was introduced and again in the week it took effect. The site records the claim as the poster makes it.
The inference does not follow on its own. Google Trends reports relative, normalized interest rather than absolute search counts, small numbers in a small region produce large-looking spikes, and the tool does not identify who searched or why. Nothing here establishes that any person or entity took any action, and no wrongdoing by any named individual is alleged or implied.
