The claim is a wound-location claim, and it matters because wound location is the fault line of the whole case. The published account describes a projectile recovered in the neck with no exit wound. A separate group of researchers argues the fatal injury originated at the stage rather than from a rooftop. An entry point near the right ear or temple, if that is what the still shows, would sit awkwardly with more than one of those accounts, which is why the poster is asking rather than asserting.
The still is low-resolution and heavily compressed; at that quality a shadow, a strand of hair, and a blood trace are difficult to separate, and the poster frames the observation as a question.
