The page contains transcribed text messages between the defendant and a roommate. It is signed in blue ink by Jeffrey S. Gray, Utah County Attorney, and dated September 16, 2025.
An Information is the charging instrument — the document that formally states what the State says a defendant did and on what basis. This one is dated six days after the shooting, and it puts the message traffic into the public record as part of the State's theory rather than as a leak.
That placement is why the page matters to researchers. The message record in this case is contested on several grounds — who had access to which device, when devices were seized, and how the messages were authenticated — and disputes over the electronic record run through the Mirandize cluster and the Discord records fight.
