Google Trends — Utah Spike, Late September
What This Image Shows
A mobile browser screenshot of Google Trends at trends.google.com, comparing Tony graf and Robert lunnen in Utah from 1/1/25 to 10/19/25. A tooltip is open on the week of Sep 21 - 27, 2025, showing Tony graf at 100 and Robert lunnen at 0. The @BasedSamParker watermark runs across the chart.
This is the in-state control for the Israel charts filed beside it. Inside Utah, interest in the new judge's name is flat all year and then goes to maximum in late September 2025 — two weeks after the assassination, as the case moved through its early hearings.
That is what news-driven search looks like, and saying so is not a concession that weakens the archive. The value of this panel is precisely that it shows a normal pattern, giving readers a baseline to compare against the pre-event spikes the researcher flags in the Israel panels. The retiring judge's name never moves at all. Neither judge is accused of anything. See Google Searches and Judge Tony Graf.
