Investigation Report on the Surrender — Annotated
What This Image Shows
A screenshot of a typed law enforcement investigation report. The text describes events around the shooting at Utah Valley University, including the account of Tyler Robinson's surrender and transcribed text messages between him and Lance Twiggs. Several passages carry blue and red horizontal underlines added by whoever shared the page.
The underlines mark the timing language. The report is the official narrative of the evening of September 11, 2025 — who contacted whom, when the suspect came in, and what was recovered from the message traffic.
That narrative is precisely what the rest of this cluster tests. The filing pages here place a rights reading at 6:25 PM in Washington County; the report's account of a later surrender and the message record has to fit around that. Whether the two can be reconciled depends on facts still contested in court, including exactly when the phone was seized and how the messaging accounts were authenticated. Nothing here is a finding of guilt, and Robinson is charged, not convicted. See Custody Timeline and Confession and Discord Evidence in Court.
