The Assembled Custody Timeline

Custody timeline summary showing Miranda at the Washington County Sheriff's Office at 6:25 PM on September 11, a Utah County booking entry at 10 PM, and a formal arrest at 04:00 on September 12

What This Image Shows

A summary panel assembling the custody sequence from the filings and public records, shared by @VLuvMully on July 11, 2026. The image is cropped to the factual portion.

The sequence it sets out runs: around 6:00 to 9:00 PM on 9/11, Tyler Robinson reportedly arrives at the Washington County Sheriff's Office with his parents and a family friend, choosing Washington County rather than Utah County three and a half hours north; 6:25 PM 9/11, Miranda rights read and the custody log recorded at the WCSO, per exhibit Bates 003996-R2; around 7:57 PM 9/11, the Discord messages attributed to Robinson appear; 8:02 PM 9/11, Sheriff Nate Brooksby says he received a call from a retired deputy about the suspect; 10:00 PM 9/11, a Utah County booking-sheet entry lists this as the arrest date and time; around 04:00 AM 9/12, a Utah County affidavit lists a formal arrest time after transport.

The argument is that the 6:25 PM Washington County reading predates every later booking and affidavit time, and predates the Discord messages by roughly ninety minutes. If that is right, the person-of-interest photos and rooftop video released as a public bulletin around 7:55 PM went out after the suspect was already in custody. Whether it is right depends on facts still contested in court, including the exact phone-seizure time and the authentication of the Discord account. Robinson is charged, not convicted.
