The same exhibit and the same internal timestamp are placed on two different dates, one bullet apart. That contradiction is the reason this screenshot is filed on its own page. Researchers read it as a sign the public record is genuinely inconsistent about when custody began; the fair counterweight is that an AI overview restates its sources and may simply be reproducing inconsistent reporting rather than inconsistent records. Either way, the underlying question — what date is on the Bates 003996-R2 video — is exactly what the unedited exhibit and the custody logs would answer. Tyler Robinson is charged, not convicted.
