Post Questioning Blood Near the Right Ear

What This Image Shows

This is a phone screenshot of a post on X from the account Polly St George. The attached video thumbnail shows a man in a white shirt with heavy red staining across the chest, holding a dark handheld microphone in front of a backdrop reading TURNING POINT USA, with YREFY.COM printed above it. The visible interface shows a 1:14 video length and 235 replies.

The post text reads: it enters near his right ear, there is video but I cannot post it here, this is a still from that video, see the blood on his right ear and temple. The claim being advanced is about the entry point — that the wound is higher and further right than the official account describes.

That claim sits inside one of the most contested parts of the case. The state's position is a .30-06 round fired from the Losee Center rooftop; researchers have argued from the autopsy description and the visible wound that the geometry does not fit a downward shot from that roof. The competing readings are laid out at Trajectory and Wound Mismatch and Ballistics and Wound Analysis, with the alternative mechanisms discussed at Alternative Kill Mechanisms. This image records what one researcher posted publicly, not a medical finding; the autopsy report itself is still not public, as covered at Autopsy Report Not Public.
