Armed Officers at the Tree Line
What This Image Shows
A low-resolution, slightly blurred daylight frame captured from a screen on September 11, 2025. Several armed figures in tactical gear are spread across a grass and dirt area beside a dense wall of trees and brush, with a white four-door crew-cab pickup parked on a dirt track at the left. No text, insignia, or plates are legible at this resolution.
The frame comes from search coverage in the day after the shooting. The wooded area north of the campus is where the Mauser .30-06 was reportedly recovered, so images of officers working a tree line on that date are part of the recovery record even when, as here, they show nothing conclusive.
What researchers have pressed on is not this photograph but the sequence around it: when the search of that area began, who found the rifle, and how the recovery is documented. Those questions are set out at Gun Discovery Sequence, Rifle Found After Feds, and Gun Dropped Location. The residential search imagery from the same thread is in the Walk Path sub-cluster.
