What This Image Shows​

A vertical photograph of a small patch of green grass in an urban plaza or park, bordered by raw concrete retaining walls with a large flowering bush at one side. A person is lying on the grass. A black backpack lies flat nearby, a green tote bag sits upright near the concrete edge, and several drink cans and other items are scattered around. A cropping icon in the corner shows the frame has been prepared for editing.

The frame is filed with the walk-path material, and the reason is the backpack. The bag carried by the figure in the released stairwell images is one of the most argued-over objects in the case: researchers have contended that the backpack visible on Tyler Robinson earlier in the day differs in type and in fullness from the one in the stairwell frames, and that a rifle of the stated dimensions could not have been carried in it.
